Tipping Point Timber
Price range: $149.00 through $179.00
A block of wood leans against anything and falls over on your cue. Tipping Point Timber is the electronic falling block, run from the free ArcaneHub app: tap your phone, your watch or an AR Remote, or set it to fall by itself after a spectator stands it up. It feels the fall start and stops at once, so it works at any lean.
It falls when you decide. Not a moment before.
A small block of wood leans against a book, a glass, a box or a spectator’s hand. Nothing touches it. On your cue it slowly gives way and topples over, as if something unseen just leaned on it. Hand it out, let them stand it back up themselves, and it can fall again.
Tipping Point Timber is the electronic falling block, run from the free ArcaneHub app. No threads, no magnets under the table, no table at all if you like: it works on a tablecloth, a bar top or the palm of a hand.
Smart enough to fall right every time
- Falls at any lean. A built-in motion sensor feels the block start to tip and stops instantly, so it pushes only as long as it needs to, whether the block is leaning far over or standing nearly upright.
- Knows when it is being handled. It will not fire while someone is holding it or while it is lying flat, so it can never give itself away in a spectator’s hand.
- Auto mode. Arm it and hand it out. The block falls by itself a few seconds after the spectator sets it down and lets go, with the delay set by you from 1 to 30 seconds. Your hands are nowhere near it.
- Show Timer. Time your show, set the block for anything from 1 second to 2 hours, and it falls by itself right on the moment you planned. Handling it in between does not reset the clock, and an optional buzz on your watch and phone gives you a heads-up a minute (or however long you like) before it goes.
- Tells you how it went. ArcaneHub shows when it has fallen, and lets you know if it did not.
Cued in silence
- From your phone: one tap on the big TIP button in ArcaneHub.
- From your watch: a tap on your Galaxy Watch fires it, with a quiet buzz back to confirm it fell.
- From an AR Remote: a press in your pocket.
- Or hands-free with Auto mode.
