Talos — The Coin That Already Knows
A working magician doesn’t buy a gimmick for the secret. They buy it for the moment the secret stops mattering — when the method disappears completely and all that’s left is the performance.
That’s what Talos gives you. One face holds the Sun: light, clarity, an answer arriving in the open. The other holds the Moon: intuition, mystery, the truth beneath the surface. The pendant knows which one is showing the instant it lands, and streams that result straight to your phone before you’ve even looked down.
You won’t feel like you’re running an effect. You’ll feel like you’re reading something that was already true. There’s no peek to disguise, no switch to time, no percentage of failure sitting in the back of your mind while you perform. The coin does its work silently over Bluetooth. What’s left for you is presence — watching your spectator’s face when the answer lands, instead of watching your own hands.
That’s the real reason performers reach for tools like this: not the trick itself, but the certainty it buys. Confidence reads on stage. Hesitation does too. Talos removes the one variable that’s hardest to control by hand — and hands you back the only thing the audience actually came to feel: that something real just happened in front of them.

I just want thank Chris Sipes for the amazing work he did in recreating Dr. Pritchard’s Box of Poison. It is handcrafted solid wood and has amazing secrets! Chris’ talent in technology allows you to see the final reveals from across the room. Amazing! Also, it includes an HH Holmes package inside. OH! It also has more reveals than ever. If you get one, IM me and I will tell you how to add more! Truly a marvel and I think easily customizable for any show. Make it a Ripper box, Titanic, Chicago Gangsters, witchcraft and more!

Whilst I have yet to “play” with my Poison Box (neighbours and locals beware!), I endorse Vince’s comments where I can. Most importantly of all, it really LOOKS authentic – but then, of course, it really did come from Holmes ‘s Murder Castle(!?!). It’s the sort of prop which adds the right amount of “atmosphere” to a performance; a mixture of intrigue, puzzlement, authenticity whist being ‘unsettling’. It’s very well constructed and aged. Importantly, it doesn’t betray the devilment that hides inside. As with all such props, it is what you the performer makes of it and with it that matters. Open the box and let it lead you – if you dare.
