Works with ArcaneHub

ArcaneHub is my free app for iPhone, Android and Wear OS watches (Galaxy Watch and similar). Pair once and every Arcane Relics prop you own lives on one screen. Your cue comes as a silent buzz on your phone or wrist, so your eyes never leave your spectator. Prefer nothing on your wrist? Choose the silent pocket thumper option above and your cue comes to your pocket instead. Get the app

What Talos sends the Hub: Sun or Moon, the moment their hand closes.

Talos — The Raven’s Talisman

A Northwest Coast legend, reborn as a mind-reading talisman.

Long before the world had light, Raven stole the sun and moon from the Great
Chief’s cedar box. Now that legend lives in your hand, literally.

Talos is a beautifully finished coin/pendant talisman bearing two faces: Sun
on one side, Moon on the other. As you retell the Tlingit myth of Raven’s
theft, Talos quietly reads which side rests face-up in your participant’s
palm, and reports it straight to your phone or smartwatch in real time via
Bluetooth and the ArcaneHub app. No peeks, no fishing, no awkward glances at
your hand. Just you, the story, and impossible knowledge delivered exactly
when the tale calls for it.

What’s included:
– Talos talisman (Sun/Moon coin, Bluetooth-enabled)
– Full performance script, Talos: The Raven, adapted from the Tlingit “Theft
of the Sun and Moon,” including handling notes, timing cues, and staging tips for a clean, dramatic reveal ~ Story/presentation by Joseph Daniels
– Talos cradle charger

How it plays:
The routine walks your participant through the myth in real time. They hold,
hide, and reveal the talisman at key story beats while you divine which symbol
is showing, seemingly through nothing but the tale itself. Handling notes
cover safe palm positioning and dramatic reveals (opening the hand one finger
at a time, like a coin production).

Prefer not to use your phone or watch mid-performance? Choose the silent pocket thumper option above and you get your reading without ever glancing at a screen.

Whether you’re a strolling performer or working a private sitting, Talos turns
a five-minute folktale into a five-minute miracle.

A voodoo doll nailed into a hand-aged box, circa 1837 New Orleans. Your participant throws the dart, or just thinks of a spot. The box makes no sound, they can hold it the whole time, and you know exactly where it landed. Six zones. Works with the free ArcaneHub app for phone and watch.
